Frank Welsh, M.D., was graduated from Harvard Medical School and trained
in surgery at the Mayo Clinic and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
He is board certified in surgery and plastic surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Welsh has been in practice in Cincinnati, Ohio since 1978. Dr. Welsh is a member of the most elite plastic surgery organizations in
the world. He regularly attends and participates in medical education programs
and brings the latest technical refinements back to the tri-state.

Through Dr. Welsh and his professional affiliations, you have access to the top experts in the field. Dr. Welsh speaks regularly on surgical and health care topics and has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is course director of Plastic Surgery for the Primary Care Provider, a clinical workshop held annually at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati for more than ten years. You will be cared for exclusively by Dr. Welsh, assisted by his staff of highly skilled registered nurses and patient coordinators.

Dr. Welsh is a board certified physician. He is affiliated with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (1976), the American Board of Surgery (1974), and is licensed in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Florida. Dr. Welsh has also obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School in 1966, performed a General Surgery Residency at the Mayo Clinic in 1973, and attended the University of Oklahoma for a Plastic Surgery Residency in 1975. In addition, Dr Welsh also completed a Postgraduate Fellowship at the University of Miami and commits to more than 50 hours of Continuing Education every year.
